What is the Haunted Town of L'il-Sur-Mer?
The Haunted Town of L'il-Sur-Mer was the brainchild of longtime friends Rene Panasiuk and Andy Keys. It came from the idea that anyone could create a haunted house, but could we create a whole haunted town? After all, the entire town of L'il-Sur-Mer that was built for ArMy Paintball wasn't being used in the off season. With a committee of friends who are Halloween enthusiasts, along with many volunteers, it was discovered that they could, in fact, create a Haunted Town every October.
The Haunted Town has been operating from the beginning as a non-profit event. Funds are charged to tour the town and raffle tickets are sold each year for a quilt. All the funds raised are then donated to local charities and community programs. In 2022 Haunted Town of L'il-Sur-Mer became an official non-profit!
The Haunted Town of L'il-Sur-Mer operates only 6 nights a year on the three Friday and Saturday evenings before Halloween. More than 1000 people go through every year and have come from Medicine Hat, Regina, Saskatoon and even as far away as Winnipeg and Edmonton. We even had a visitor from Scotland! The tour is a ride and walk through the town with stops at themed houses throughout the town. From arrival to finish, the experience can take about an hour. Also, the houses change every year, so it is a new experience every time! This is 100% an event that shouldn't be missed!
All rides must be pre-booked by texting (306) 992-1503.
